Mathematics

The integration of technology into activities of everyday life requires more knowledge of mathematics than ever before.  Therefore, entering freshmen are directed towards either Algebra 1/2 or Algebra I depending upon their scores on the 8th grade pre-algebra test.  This recommendation is provided to the parents and student at the time of registration.  Those students who are borderline are advised to enroll in Algebra 1/2.  This step allows them to have as many as four years of math, but not as rigorous as the pre-calc track.  This program enables all students to become adequately prepared for whatever post high school endeavor they may choose.
