      Since I've liberated what was, originally, a site that Loyd Goodbar designed and put up on the Wired, I felt duty and honour bound to write him, notifying him of my intentions. I did so on July 5, 2001. But...the letter got returned. I dont have Loyd's current address, but a transcript of my letter to him follows, in the hopes that it somehow finds it's way to him:

It's been quite awhile, several longs years in fact, since we last chatted on the AMG Mailing list.

The reason I'm writing is that I'm re-claiming INFLATABLE URD. I'm bringing her home at last and putting up a mirror of your original site on my server. I was quite pleasently surprised that your page is still up there....so I've taken the artistic liberty of taking the code and data and will be putting it on my server by this weekend.

I would hate to have the page and idea just disappear, since I think there is, and always will be, something very essential and vital to the human spirit in the concept manifestation and persona of Inflatable Urd.

So the gal is coming home to Schmitty-sama where she belongs. Version 2.0 coming soon!!

I hope this message gets to you, btw....since I'm using your old addy. oh well.....Peorth will comfort me.....((and of course, my new WIFE might beg to differ....BUT......I still have that truck that me and Big Eustis drug out the arroyo after Inflatable Urd somehow FORGOT that she had left it there......=P ))....and so on....
