My Case 130

The Case 130 and 180 were Case's first venture into the garden tractor market in late 1964. The 130 and 180 were actually manufactured alongside the Colt tractors of the same vintage, and are nearly identical in every respect except color and engine brandname.

My 130 was the second addition to my growing tractor family. I purchased it from an avid case garden tractor collector in August of 2005. It is in excellent mechanical condition - with a solid engine and drive system - and quite good asthetic condition.

It appears as though it had a paint job a few years back that is holding up fairly well. It wasn't completely restored, but certainly preserved well enough that the forthcoming restoration looks like it should be fun.

Since purchasing it, I have done some minor work. I have replaced much of the stearing system to remove slack, removed the mule drive, and replaced the rear tires with ag lugs. I kept the original turf tires, but I like the look of lugs better.
