My Case 155

The Case 155 and 195 were built in 1967 and 1968. They quickly became a consumer favorite because of their easy to use design, simple mechanics, and insanely durable construction. Many of these tractors are still functioning today, with such models as a hydraulic lift 195 being pretty rare.

Pictures of my 155

Notes - the above shots give a good look at my 155 and the modifications. I have all the original parts (including hood decals) to put this tractor back to original factory look in about 30 minutes. I believe in original restorations, but this particular 155 is more a child's vision than an adult's restoration.

My 155 was purchased as a Christmas gift for me from a local John Deere dealership in 1989.

In the summer of 1990, new rings were installed and the tractor was painted. In 1998, the tractor was completly dissassembled. The original plan was to modify the tractor for pulling with a mechanical drive and a 600cc motorcycle engine, but it turned out to be in far too good condition to modify.

Due to school/career and other major life changes, the tractor sat until the summer of 2005 in pieces. Now it is reassembled in all its glory, in nearly perfect condition.

Attachments

Following will soon be several pictures of all the attachments I have located over the years. At some point, all of these will be restored as completely as the tractor, but that will take a while.

I currently own a hydraulic rotor tiller, snow blower, dozer blade, 36" mower deck, and 42" mower deck. I would really, REALLY like to find the side mounted 110 volt generator, so if you know of one, please e-mail me.
